My research explores notions of embodiment, presence, agency, and alterity in different dance and cultural practices. I am interested in the relationships between mindful bodies, specific practices, environments and cultural contexts, and how such entanglements shape processes of meaning-making, healing, and well-being.

My research interests include:

  • Dance and performance

  • Illness and creative arts

  • Cancer survivorship

  • Embodied narratives and processes of healing
